FAQs

HANGING PIECES: It is not recommended to hang glass work from a suction cups as they may fall and break. Instead, try using a hook or a nail secured to your wall or window sill for extra security.

CLEANING: When cleaning or dusting off a piece, always use a cloth or microfiber rag to avoid scuffing the glass. You can also use a mixture of rubbing alcohol and water or any other ammonia free cleaners you have on hand.

COMMISSIONS: I am always happy to talk shop and brainstorm custom orders! I do have a full-time job so my schedule is tight but you’re always welcome to send over your ideas. Typically, the commission process involves: initial discussions, rough draft sketches, material/glass purchase, building the piece and finally shipping or installation.

SHIPPING & HANDLING: All orders are carefully packaged in either bubble mailers or boxes depending on the size/fragility. Please allow 1-2 weeks after ordering for them to arrive unless otherwise specified.

** Local pickup is available if you live in the Durham, NC area! The cost of shipping will be refunded to you if you choose this option.**

GENERAL INFO: All stained glass pieces are made using 60/40 solder which contains lead so be sure to wash your hands after handling them. Ideally it is advised to keep pieces away from high moisture areas in order to keep them from rusting.
